Another Taobao review!

I was going to make a review when all my packages arrived, but I shipped one with SAL and that is going to take ages to get here. So, I got 2 packages the other day and thought I'd share them!

I used taobaoring again and I was very impressed with their service!

Post and Packaging - 5/5

Again I was really impressed with the speed of the shipping. I expected there to be a delay with the post on my side, obviously not being Taobao's fault - and the custom forms were filled out a little lower. In my country, customs will try and get you any way that they can tbh....

Anyway, I got delivered 2 large boxes and the outer was packed really well! No chance of being damaged too much in transit! The insides were packed really well and once again, cant complain with how it was packed and delivered!

Lets started with the items shall we!

I didn't realise this was actually a demin jacket when I saw it online, I thought it was more of a shirt, but its an actual Jacket! It fits quite well, though with me being taller than the model (im 5ft 10") its on the short side for me, but I still love it. The patches give it kind of a grunge/kawaii look! And yes, it says "mikey" instead of mickey. I actually didn't notice that at first, my girlfriend pointed it out.

(I dont have a link for this sorry, when i load up the item, it shows a different sweater!)

This is what made the score go down, due to the sizing. The bust was supposed to be 105 cm - which would be baggy on me - but its quite tight. And again, due to my height, its short on me. I might have to file this under  "things i can wear once i loose a small bit of weight"

Now these beauties are a dream purchase! Ive always wanted winged sneakers and I finally found them on Taobao and they are so cute! This was the first time buying shoes from the internet, especially having to sort out the size conversion. I got a 41 (which is a 6.5 in my country) and I was so happy they fit! They are comfortable and look so cute on ( i will get some pictures when i can!) I wore them to work on dress down friday and got some compliments on them!

Once again, I am satisfied with the service I recieved from Taobao! Quick shipping, fast processing and they work 6 days a week so they are always there if you need them! 

Taobao order #2

While waiting for my Taobao order, I somehow ended up making another order but I feel so good about the new additions to my wardrobe! HahahaI should be doing this as i need money for Kyary in a couple of weeks but oh well! I want to make a few taobao orders to bulk up my outfits for Japan! I didnt like my style which I had back then so Im going to try a few new things!

So the first step, is find the clothes!

 

These two have been ordered and shipped to me already with the item from the previous post! Im a big sailor moon fan, so looking forward to the remake this july! And the skirt is just awesome! I need to figure out the outfit with the skirt though, but im thinking it will most def be a rokku outfit!

These shoes are a dream purchase! Ive loved the Jeremy Scott shoes but the colours dont really give me way in outfit planning and im in need of a pair of shoes for Japan, so these trainers/sneakers are brilliant! Im planning to go up Mount Fuji on a tour and travel up Mount Takao so Im gonna need more sensible shoes, but for shopping and just going around Tokyo, these would be perfect

This was an impulse buy but I love the outfit so much! Its such a cool style and would keep me warm even on a breezy day! I think the shoes above would look cute with this outfit and some cute shorts, which i already own :3 

I dont think I'll look on Taobao anymore, not until payday anyway haha

Review - TaoBao

My first review from Taobao using their shopping service too purchase clothes! I am a fan of the rokku gyaru style and I needed an outfit for an upcoming J-Rock concert in my country and wanted a rocking outfit! I love Glavil and GLADNEWS - and I have a few items from each from my trip to Tokyo. I heard about TaoBao but it always confused me so I stayed away from it (having to use a shipping service put me off - but I could not find SNH48 cds anywhere apart from Taobao so I took the plunge and tried a service, and it was successful!)

I used TaoBaoRing and they are really helpful and really easy to use. You can put your items in a cart and see how much they would be before you commit to buy - they then message you if its in stock to pay the first bit, and then again when they receive the item. The even told me that it would be cheaper to use Airmail (even though I had picked Chinese SAL) and charged me for Airmal!

Post and Packaging 4/5

Even though it was Airmail it did take a while. It was shipped on the 18/02/2014 and arrived today! I think I expect to much since CDJapan takes 7 days, so I guess I'm spoilt. The packaging was good! Simple and effective  and below is how to packaging was inside the envolope

I ordered this on a whim from the Glavil search engine and wondered if I was getting a knock off, bad quality piece of clothing but it really wasnt! It is really nice and big and comfortable. It also looks good on as well!

I would recommend TaoBaoRing as they have an easy system and friendly staff! They take a picture of your items and give you a tracking number for you to track your parcel and they have a system where yyou can log in and check on all your orders - when you receive your items you can click "received" and they go into your archive or question them if you feel like it is taking too long!

Overall I am super satisfied with the service and my item and will gladly order from them in the future!
